Welcome Friends and Colleagues

Interest in the role of cellular microvesicles and nanovesicles (exosomes) is expanding rapidly. It is now known that far from being merely cellular debris, these particles play a key role in cell to cell communication and signalling. Moreover, they are significantly elevated in a number of diseases. This raises the question of their direct role in pathogenesis as well as their possible use as biomarkers. The purpose of this meeting is to bring together, we believe for the first time, a range of experts from around the world to discuss the latest advances in this field. Key to the study of these particles is the availability of methodologies for their measurement in biological fluids. We are therefore pleased to invite a number of companies to present a range of exciting new technologies for this purpose. We hope that this meeting will provide a catalyst for future research and collaborations in this intriguing area.
The number of places is strictly limited to 150 so you are advised to book early to make sure you do not miss this exciting meeting.
